UAE-Israel Deal: Just a Distraction?

I just heard that some are saying that the UAE-Israel normalization deal is just a ruse by which Bibi can distract us from his failure in controlling the Corona pandemic in Israel. Well, that must mean that the UAE-Israel deal is, in fact, just a ruse by which Bibi can distract us from the criminal charges that have been laid against him since that is what they have given as a reason for him not really doing what is necessary to overcome Corona. Because everything Bibi does has only one purpose these days – to distract us from the charges against him and get those charges out of the news cycle.

Hmm. That means that the UAE (and the USA of course) and now Bahrain and Sudan (and who else is lined up to normalize relations with Israel?) are co-conspirators in keeping Bibi’s criminal charges out of the news. Yup, that makes sense. Not.

Or maybe it is just a case of sour grapes – “why was it not the party leaders I support who made these deals?” Or – “why was I not invited to join the first few official trips to the UAE?” I have a feeling that writing that these deals are not really real deals but only a cover-up for Bibi’s crimes will not help them get invited to join official trips to Bahrain, Sudan, etc. Oh well.

Or perhaps it is righteous indignation they share with the righteously indignant responses of their Palestinian Arab friends to having been abandonning by other members of the Arab Ummah in their fight to dismantle Israel. Looks like there is not much chance of that happening now.

Pity the poor PA leadership! No, let us correct that: pity the enriched PA leadership that may not have much longer to manipulate and exploit the poor PA residents on whose behalf they signed a contract with Israel (called Oslo Accords). That contract was supposed to ensure that they take care of the residents of the PA. Oh well. Time to set that right too.
