Excellent analysis. The possibility that the Arabs were scouting the area for a terrorist attack is real. That is what led to Hamas’ attack on Oct 7.

    Well done, Sheri.

I live a few meters away in Har Bracha. No one ends up accidentally in Givat Ronen. You would drive all the way up the steep driveway to Har Bracha if you missed the entrance to Shechem at the kikar at the bottom of the hill or stop and turn around at the spring before Givat Ronen.

Why were they going to Shechem? The signs say it is forbidden for Israeli citizens to enter pa controlled areas. Why were the women planning to break the law?

Perhaps they have family or friends there. Anyway, the signs usually mean it is forbidden for Jewish Israelis. Israeli Arabs are going into those forbidden towns all the time.
