Proof of Incitement: Add these Israeli NGOs to the list of terrorist organizations?
Yesterday, in an article published in United with Israel, I raised the possibility that Jewish leftists were on hand at Susya soley for the purposes of recording the violence and making the false accusation that settlers attacked Arabs in a playground, chasing the children away. It is logical to assume that the activists did not come to the area for a purely social gathering, perhaps, but there was no proof of that.
Now we have proof.
The organization “Mothers Against Violence” (not registered as an NGO) is inviting mothers to join them on a demonstration at Susya and they have a videoclip (subtitles in English) of a cute little girl to make it all seem so innocent. They write: “Good morning, mothers are coming this Saturday and bringing a basket full of surprises to a party at the playground.”
בוקר טוב, האמהות מגיעות השבת ואיתנו סל מלא הפתעות למסיבה בגן המשחקים. pic.twitter.com/ufx3XEnY8y

There are no more available places for tomorrow (12 Nov) but if you are quick, you can register for their repeat performances for the following Saturdays of November. Perhaps their intention is for a peaceful quiet demonstration in support of the illegal outpost of what many are calling “Palestinian Susya” as if that is a real thing. But it is certain that there is an expectation of violence.
We can attribute less pure motivations on the part of “Breaking the Silence”. On their tweet advertising the event, they write:
What is the chance that on Shabbat we will not be exposed once more to images of settlers invading a Palestinian village, beating its residents and destroying property, when they are accompanied by soldiers who provide them with security? It is almost routine, just like the silence of [Defence Minister] Benny Gantz. This is state-sanctioned terror, and the time has come to bring this to an end. Share this.
הפיצו. pic.twitter.com/7fzdRrMa4S

Attached to their tweet is a letter addressed to Gantz. The letter is titled: “A Call for Urgent Action against Settler Violence expected for this coming Weekend”. And why is the violence expected? According to what I have been learning, much of the violence is instigated by leftists such as the organizations on the letterhead who serve as lackies for the Palestinian Authority (PA). The PA is trying to force Israel out of Judea and Samaria. This call-for-action means that they know exactly WHEN and WHERE to expect violence to erupt and they are on-hand to take pictures and videos of the Jews responding, taking the context in which it happens out-of-the-picture, so to speak (one example here).
The Army Radio Station shared the letter, implying that they agree that the settlers are the only ones responsible for the violence. Their own military correspondent, Doron Kadosh, adds that this time the IDF knows about the incident in advance and needs to be there with reinforcements. Hmmmm.
The most incidious post is from “Peace Now”. They write:
You don’t have to conduct a sophisticated information gathering operation in order to know that this coming Saturday we will see videoclips of violence on the part of settlers. The murderous assaults carried out yesterday by armed settlers against Palestinians in the South Hebron Hills is overall an introduction to [what will happen] this coming weekend. The violence is raging now. The responsibility for preventing further victims is on you [Gantz].
The meme reads: “This coming Saturday, the settlers will carry out a terror attack. Gantz, it’s on you! Stop the ticking bomb.”
Member of Knesset Mossi Raz, a member of the far-left party Meretz, joins in the incitement. In his tweet, he writes:
I join the call of the peace organizations to the Defence Minister to take significant steps in the field in order to prevent settler violence on Shabbat against Palestinian olive pickers. The disturbances that we have seen in the past Saturdays is an insult and a disgrace for the State of Israel, her citizens and her army.
(@mossi_raz) November 11, 2021
Perhaps the real insult and disgrace is that Raz is a member of the coalition and not in the opposition.
It would behove MK Raz to check the facts and make sure he really knows what he is talking about when he makes accusations like this and takes for granted that the so-called “peace” organizations tell the truth. After all, in the two situations I have so far examined, questions are raised regarding who started the violence (see here and here).
On the other hand, if we believe that Jews have no business being in Judea and Samaria, then is just the fact that Jews built houses there is sufficient to make Jews guilty of incitement to violence or having started it? Will Raz say the same thing when they come to claim his home in Shoham?
In an article in Hebrew, the human rights organization B’tsalmo announced its intention to petition Attorney General Avichai Mandelbli requesting him to charge “Peace Now” for incitement against an entire sector of the Israeli population, blaming them alone for the increased violence we have seen in the South Hebron Hills. The article quotes B’tsalmo CEO, Shai Glick:
It is shocking the such incitement takes place. Unfortunately, we have not learned from the past that incitement kills. I call on all members of the Knesset to condemn the incitement, and I call on the Attorney General to lay charges immediately.
These so-called “peace” organizations have unmasked themselves with their increasingly strident public calls to join them in Judea and Samaria and act against the Jewish residents. The presence of these leftists from other parts of the country is shown to be planned and not spontaneous and cannot be regarded as anything but provocation and incitement to violence.
Does that mean they fit the criteria of terrorist organizations? Title 22 Chapter 38 of the United States Code defined terrorism as:
premeditated, politically motivated violence perpetrated against noncombatant targets by subnational groups or clandestine agents
What do you think?
