War against Hamas, Part IV: An innocent Gazan citizen

Here is just one Gazan. Just one. We don’t know how many like him there are. We don’t know how many, unlike him, are praying for Israel to defeat the Hamas terrorist devil. Forever.

But let us not be naive. Where there is one like this, there are more. Hear him. Believe him.

I will post further articles dealing with this topic of innocent or so-called “innocent” Gazans.

In the meantime, I present this man.

Before showing you the interview, let me just emphasize that the citizen in the video says that Gazans have learned from the experience of 1948 and it will not happen again: “The martyrs are staying, the corpses are staying, the neighbourhoods are staying.”

I concur that the martyrs and the corpses are not going anywhere, in fact they are piling up by the hour. But the neighbourhoods? I wonder where he is looking because that is not what we see from here:

Citizen:

These are my heroes and lions and the crown on my head! They are revenging the people that have died. They have brought my revenge. They are the lions of the new era. We always used to read in history about the first lions of Islam and we heard about a knight who killed a lion.

Today we have a knight that burns a tank with its soldiers. We have a knight that destroys a ton of Israeli tanks. We have knights and heroes and believers and Muslims that history that history has not witnessed! Write about it if you are journalists. Write! Record it! Record what these heroes do to the “occupation” (Israel)! Record it!

Record that a young man stopped . . . 5 young men faced a ton of tanks and made them crumble like chickens. They are cowards!

Interviewer:

Today, the “occupation” (Israel) announced that 13 soldiers were killed in clashes the Gaza Strip.

Citizen:

That’s what they announced! We know the “occupation” (Israel). We are not children. We know the “occupation” (Israel). They don’t announce it continuously. Every day we pass a number of the numbers of their dead. He’s not going to tell you how many died in one day. It destroys the morale of the defeated army.

Interviewer:

As a citizen, are you steadfast?

Citizen:

Of course, we are steadfast. The corpses are steadfast. The neighbourhoods are steadfast. Above ground, we are steadfast.  Underground we are steadfast. Our property is that we are steadfast. It’s our land and our country. We have learned from the experience of 1948. It will not happen again in the present time.

I will not go to Sinai or anywhere else. We will stay here in Gaza. Here in Gaza. Martyrs are staying. Neighbourhoods are staying. Corpses are staying.

We are staying in Gaza for Gaza.

Aljazeera aired an interview yesterday with a Gazan that gives a good insight into the Palestinian mindset. He conveys a deep belief in this being a moment of historic greatness of mythical proportions.
