    I was in Gush Katif as a journalist when the police evacuated families and beat up protestors. It was quite brutal. The border police were also involved. People were crying hysterically, A few tried to resist and were dragged from their homes.

    When confronted by a question regarding the difference between the harsh repressive mesures taken by the authority during the “Disengagement” and the surprisingly mild onces against the violent opponents of the judicial reform…Lapid just said something like: Well, those were a different (category of) people. i think that explains a lot of what the land goes trough nowedays.
